It's very strange to realize you've never stopped loving someone
You thought because you don't see them
Or talk to them
That the space they had carved out in your heart would repair itself
Only to discover they are still moved in there
Cozy and snug
When all along you thought they had left
I do miss him
For all the ways he frustrated me
And for many of the ways he showed his incompetence and lack of care
He still means more to me than I like to admit
And our relationship was more special than I want to believe
Who knows if it was healthy
It's enough that it was real
